Santos Nuñez

Santos Nuñez is an emerging multidisciplinary artist from Los Angeles, CA. Inspired by his experiences with social groups and internet forums, he examines the questionable nature of contemporary human behavior and communication habits. Santos uses video, photography, and sculptural installations to expose the relationship between discourse and its broader consequences. By eliciting participation in his work, he aims to motivate others to reflect and further converse on the need for active listening. 

As a father to a young child, Santos’ artwork is influenced by his role in his son’s development. His interest in human relationships stems from years of working in education and community interaction.

Santos earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art at the California State University of Dominguez Hills. As a member of the DH Arts Collective, he contributed to a platform focused on supplementing creativity and growing communities. He currently works with local artists to promote private practices through his online studio project www.ñ.studio.
