Cassandra Siemon

Sketching and sketchbooks have always been it for me; my favorite thing. A logbook of things I work out or never work on again. It's with me on job sites to troubleshoot designs and installations; to take notes of anything that catches my interest, and at home to dream new projects to look forward to. Working small, quick, and minimally is what got me onto a postcard format during the last year. Postcard sketches were a way for me to feel more connected (through mail) to my friends, keep practicing and feeling productive, and putting personal drawings up for sale for the first time. They were meant to be fun to receive in the mail. From southeast Wisconsin to California, always with a sketchbook in hand; I currently work as a window decorator and freelance drawing human.

Cassandra works and has worked as an art director, graphic designer, production designer, scenic painter, and other roles in the entertainment art world.
