Kevin is a Laguna Beach based artist, host of Kevin’s Beach at Laguna’s Only KXFM and Lead Destination Expert at Visit Laguna Beach.

He grew up in Fullerton CA where he attended Fullerton College and then Woodbury University in Burbank.

The works on display are mostly oil on canvas and span 20 years.

Inspiration comes from respect for the history of art and painters who showed maturity, development, and exploration, such as Picasso, Matisse, Milton Avery, Francis Bacon, Kerry Ware and Danny Shain to name just a few.

The paintings are abstract versions of landscapes or portraits. They often begin with a sense of intrigue toward image and composition and develop further through intuition and chance.
